How it works

YOBY is not a course. No lessons, no grades, no tests. It's a world to explore — where every choice teaches something real about money.

Step 1
Create your family account
The parent signs up and invites their kids. Everyone picks their duck and customises their character. The family pond opens.

Step 2
Explore the world
The YOBY world has three levels: the sky of big goals, the surface of everyday ponds, and the underground world of the Mole — where hidden costs are discovered. Every area has characters, quests and secrets.

Step 3
Complete quests
Each character offers short quests — choices, challenges, questions. Answers have visible consequences in the world. There's no right or wrong answer: there's your choice, and what you learn from it.

Step 4
Visit the Tuesday market
Every Tuesday, Loris arrives by boat at the Adventure Pond. You can buy, sell and negotiate. You learn the value of things — and that prices are never fixed.

Step 5
Grow together
The family pond changes over time based on everyone's choices. Shared goals bring families closer. And money stops being a taboo subject.
