What is YOBY?

YOBY turns financial education into a shared family world.

Every family has its own private pond. Each member has a duck character. Parents and children can explore together, follow small daily quests, work toward goals and build better habits around saving, spending, choices and allowance.

The idea is simple: money should not be a taboo, a lecture or a spreadsheet.

Why it matters

Many families struggle to talk about money. Children often receive allowance without a real method, while parents may find it difficult to explain saving, impulse purchases, budgeting and long-term goals in a calm and practical way.

YOBY combines game mechanics, family routines, AI guidance and financial education inside a safe digital world.

A private space where the whole family explores, completes quests and grows together. Every family member has their own duck character.

Mentor characters

The Frog, the Magpie, the Mole and other characters guide players with short quests and choice-based questions.

They do not lecture.

YOBY uses symbolic currencies for goals, saving and good habits. This creates a game economy that helps children understand value, progress and choice without feeling like a lesson.

Founders

YOBY is being built by a small independent European team.
