Safety
YOBY is a safe digital world for children and families, built with invite-only access, parental controls, content filtering, no advertising and privacy-first design.
Safe by design. Not by promise.
YOBY is built for children from the first line of code.
Safety is not an extra feature, a checkbox or a sticker on the box. It is the architecture of the product: who can enter, who can talk, what can be shared, what children can see and what parents can control.
In YOBY, children explore a playful digital world.
But they never explore it alone in the dark.

Built for children, guided by parents
YOBY is not an open social network.
Children cannot be contacted by strangers. They cannot simply wander into public chats. They cannot receive messages from unknown users. Every family pond starts from a parent account, and every child enters through that family space.
The pond may be playful.
The gates are serious.
Three core protections
1. Invite-only access
Only people invited by the parent can enter the family pond.
No public profiles.
No random contact requests.
No strangers appearing beside your child’s duck with a suspicious digital sandwich.
YOBY is designed around small, trusted spaces: families, supervised groups and controlled educational environments.
2. Automatic content filtering
Messages and interactions are designed to pass through automatic safety checks before they reach a child.
If content is inappropriate, it should not arrive in the child’s experience. The goal is simple: children should be able to explore, talk and learn without being exposed to unsafe or unsuitable content.
Safety happens before delivery, not after damage control.
3. No video chat without an adult
In YOBY, video interaction is not something children can freely activate on their own.
When a parent is not present in the pond, the videochat option is not merely hidden in a dusty menu. It is not available in the child’s interface.
No adult present.
No videochat.
Small rule. Big difference.
Parental controls
You are always the captain of the pond.
As a parent, you decide who enters, what your children can access and how the family experience works.
You can:
- invite family members
- see your children’s activity through weekly recaps
- restrict access to specific areas of the world
- suspend or remove a member
- manage family participation
- control when richer interaction features are available
YOBY gives children room to explore, but it does not ask parents to disappear behind the reeds.
Privacy-first by design
YOBY is made in Europe for European families.
We do not sell family data.
We do not use advertising inside the experience.
We do not build the product around profiling children.
Your family’s data belongs to your family. It should be understandable, manageable and removable.
Our goal is to make money education feel safe, not to turn children into tiny data fountains wearing backpacks.
No advertising
YOBY is not funded by showing ads to children.
That matters.
A financial education world for minors should not teach patience with one hand while pushing shiny distractions with the other. The experience is designed around learning, family progress and healthy habits, not ad impressions.
Age-appropriate interaction
YOBY teaches through quests, characters and choices.
Children meet mentors, complete small missions, collect symbolic currencies and learn through visible consequences. They are not dropped into adult financial tools, investment dashboards or confusing budget spreadsheets.
Everything is designed to feel understandable, gentle and appropriate for children.
Learning money habits should not require a helmet and a tax consultant.
Safe spaces for families and schools
YOBY can support both family use and supervised educational projects.
For families, the pond is private and parent-led.
For schools and partners, YOBY can be configured around guided, age-appropriate learning paths.
In both cases, the principle stays the same: children learn better when the environment is playful, bounded and safe.
What safety means to us
Safety is not only about blocking bad things.
It is also about designing good spaces.
A safe product for children should be:
- easy for parents to understand
- difficult for strangers to misuse
- free from advertising pressure
- age-appropriate by default
- transparent about data
- respectful of family control
- playful without becoming careless
That is the kind of pond we are building.
A safer way to learn about money
YOBY helps children and parents build better money habits together, inside a world designed around trust.
Because talking about money is already hard enough.
The place where families learn it should feel safe.
